How many of you have their medicinal garden… do you still have it? Or just rely on the nearest drugstores near you? Whatever your convenience is, do you trust botanical medicine for your primary health care? How many of you would say I choose herbs first before any other drugs?

I do have a few herbs/trees that I find extremely useful in my diet. The curry leaves for example need no recommendation. Thanks to the Net I now know it even helps reduce the bad cholesterol, has iron, etc. I have the tulsi plant, the canistel fruit which contains niacin good for cholesterol and various other greens that help me maintain good health. Last but not the least Aloe vera is my bet which is the queen of all plants!
I have a holistic approach to healthy living and I do not rely on just one therapy but several - Allopathy for emergencies homoeopathy my bosom pal!!, herbs, reiki, yoga and meditation.

You can start with aloe vera which has many properties. This plant is very easy to grow and I just surfed and found this page which will help you to take care of the plant. The benefits are several although it is not highlighted on this page. http://thegardenhelper.com/aloe~vera.html. If you surf too you will find many pages highlighting the benefits of this plant.

Well it depends on the disease like if I have normal cold and cough , or light teeth pain, feeling giddyness because of waekness or so , then I will go through some herbal treatment instead of going to doctor but if some major problem comes then obviously prefer doctor instead of doing some home made medicine.

As you know i hate any medicine.
I would rather go for herbal than anything else.
I know nothing of planting anything, with my luck it will die or something.
I am sure you can do it, though.
