Do you know how lucky you are to have airconditioning in your car?

this is the thing beetle owners love and/or hate about their bugs
airconditioning
if you have it, your car's not "stock" or "original" and purists will scoff at you
and if you do decide not to have it you run the risk of getting a heat stroke in the middle of traffic
well i decided to give the beetle nazis the finger and get an a/c unit attached to my car
i'm currently trying to figure out how to engineer it and probaby rebuild the engine ( and get additional cost)
but i will not get stuck in traffic and take off my clothes while drinking copious amounts of water just to enjoy my bug

Hi, chipesterkhan. I know just what you mean! I have had to ride around in a very hot car many of times. And it is no fun at all!
Now, my husband has AC in our car. When it runs out of freon, he will get this guy that he knows, that will add more freon to our car for free. I love it when I can let the windows up while I am driving. It feels so good when cool air is blowing on me, than hot mucky air.
