Did you know you can pay half the fare?

I did not know if your disabled in Ny you can pay half fare with your medicare card. I have to be sure to let some people know. I was told by a friend who got his half fare card in last year. This even works with the metro north trains too. I think this is a great help to disabled people.......have a blessed day!

here in my country they will only lessen the fare for 20% as a discount for disabled,student and senior citizen people,but there are also buses who can accept half of fare when the passenger is a kid with the age of 8 below and those buses are provincial buses only.

The elderly here in Chi-town get the same benefit, I think it is great with things being to high to afford. It is yet even more difficult for the elderly to get by.

That is awesome I know things are so expensive in New York anyway and anything that can help others is a blessing! I live in Florida where people retire and there are not many free things for disabled to get around. Even the medical vans charge the poor people to pick up and drop off.
