hawaii to go or not to go?

if you had experienced a lot of bad luck and near death accidents every year on a certain day (say friday 13th) but won a fantastic free holiday with spending money to beautiful Hawaii flying out on that date would you take the prize or stay at home in bed all safe and sound?

I would go and take that prize. It is a chance of a lifetime, and it's free, because you won it! If you do not believe in bad luck, there is no doubt that you will not be harmed by bad luck. Bad luck is just a sort of mindset that people think of it as something negative and not something that is keeping you strong. I could stay in bed safe and sound, if I have some sort of disease on that time. but I'd rather take the opportunity to go to Hawaii!

I believe in mind over matter.if you think Friday the 13th is unlucky, then for certain bad things will happen to you on that day.if you believe that Friday the 13th is an ordinary day, then it will indeed be an ordinary day.I am a believer of the latter.I would definitely take that Hawaii trip even if it means I have to fly on Friday the 13th.I am thinking of sand, shore, water, and sunshine on that day,and not of bad luck.

Hi, gnomeland. No. I would not go at all. This would be one trip that I would not take for nothing. I would be too spooked to enjoy going on a trip, just knowing what has happened to me every year. As much as I would love to go and have fun, I would have to pass and stay at home.

Yep..I would go..this could be the change of fortune and the year that day stops being 'unlucky'. I don't actually pay any attention to Friday the thirteenth or any other supposed auspicious date - I think we can make any day 'unlucky' if we worry about it too much :o)
