How does an effective teacher teaches his/her lesson. We can consider that we are a good teacher if the student learn and draw feedback in your discussion.A teacher is somewhat who putted his/her shoe in the place of his/her student.Someone who appreciate and understand the situation of the learner. The one who push through the will for the sake of the students and will create a conducive learning atmosphere.

Hi there Ynahh1! Well, an effective teacher knows the value and importance of an organized and well-thought lesson plan and uses it. She sets reasonable objectives that would develop the cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills of the students. She is firm but considerate.

You're right. You should always take into consideration the learning capabilities of your students when making your lesson plan.

I teach English to Koreans. I am not sure if I am really a good teacher, maybe I am, because she is better in speaking English now. Better than her other housemates. Yes, I sometimes put myself in her shoes and I became more like a friend than a teacher. She tells me her secrets and expresses out her emotions to me. So I guess I am pretty good.
