I was sick, I went to a doctor and have my check-up routine. He prescribed some medicines which I religiously took for a period of time, then I suffered from a side effects so the doctor told me to stop taking them, and he gave another prescriptions. I'm fed up so I consulted an alternative doctor who prescribed herbal medicines. After taking them for a week, I was ready for my work. I'm taking supplemental herbal now. I have nothing against drugstore drugs but I think going back to the basic is the key to these herbal medicines. What do you think of the phrase let food be our medicines?

Yes, I do believe in the benefits of herbal medicines. I once had a backpain problem once, and I took the medicines my doctor adviced. I took the medicine for two continuous weeks, but just did not help at all. I got very worried about the seriousness of the pain. Then, a friend of mine suggested a cream made with some combination of herbs prepared by a physician who has been known to be excellent with herbal medicines. I just thought I should give it a try. Oh, it was amazing. Within a week, the backpain was gone. That's herbal medicine !

There are so many great herbal remedies out that truly help some people. But the germs, diseases and virus are ever so active these days that it does take a great deal of technological advanced medications to be rid of them. Primarily because our bodies have become so immune to process and chemicals in foods today.

Hi, I seldom eat herbal medicines as they tend to have bitter taste and some of them tha taste are so weird and it is difficult for me to swallow. I remebered when I was young,my mother brought me to chinese physician and he gave few packets of herbal medicines. When my mother cooked the medicines, the whole house has weird smell and I can't imagine that I have to drink it. So I close my eyes and nose to drink that medicine and faster eat some sour plums to get rid of the bitter taste. Normally, when I fall sick, I will go for western medicine and so far, it works for me. However, if herbal medicine does good to your body, no harm to consume it.

Yes, I have actually, once when I had the flu and I needed it to go away quickly because it was not a very good time to be sick for me. So I tried some herbal things I got at a store, and it really worked! My flu went away very fast!
