Buying a car..

In this time of hardship considering that the world economy in the past has been in shambles and that the economy is still recovering, do you intend to buy your favorite car and put in the back burner important things that have to be done which can not be done without money.

I have a car that is getting old but is still running well and I know that I will need a new car in a couple of years. I have no idea how we are going to afford one without borrowing the money which is something I am not keen on doing. The only thing I can think of is pray my car will be okay for another five years when my superannuation will come through...Definitely cannot buy one now...
