My friend is a new mom and her son is just completely controlling her life. I gave her a hair cut and it took us 3 hours!! When ever she would put him down he would start crying and then he would bump the back of his head on the floor for more attention. Her son is 19months old and is a very smart sweet boy except when he doesn't get what he wants. I don't know if I should say or do anything at all?

Wow she sounds like me lol. I have a four year old who acts even worser and he is sweet to but trys to have his way everyday and he trys to control my life and it drives me insane. People tried to give me advice and I used to just rebell and take it offensive but now I wish I would of took that advice because now I need all the help I can get before he drives me crazy so If I were you I would tell her. Your not telling her what to do your just being a good friend and concerned, I wish I would of looked at it like that before.

That is a tough situation for sure, I would just give friendly advice...Use from personal experience....I am struggling with the discipline with my 4 year old right now but I was told by a friend long time ago if you don't start acting while they are young it will only get worse when they older and it was the best advice I ever got...
