Mafia Wars on FaceBook

My husband got me into playing Mafia Wars on Facebook a while ago. Then, some other platform closed down somewhere and those players came to Facebook too. Since they were elsewhere first, they don't have the same understanding of the game, meaning etiquette and such established on FB. Since I am newer, I am getting the daylights kicked out of me by these people and also people with more money than common sense who spend hundreds of real dollars on this GAME buying weapons and such. It is just not much fun anymore. I am seriously considering giving away all my stuff and blocking the application. It just isn't fun when within 5 minutes of logging in, I am dead and can't play anyway. Is anyone else having these issues/problems?

I'm not on Facebook. But the more I hear, the more tempted I am to join.

I love some of the games! Also, it is nice to see what is going on with friends and family all over the world. If I got rid of Mafia Wars, I could get rid of tons of friends who don't play the other few games I like.

Hello Trace Lol I have a facebook account too, but I don't visit there regularly, nor play games etc, it is only when some body adds me as friend, or when a friend writes on my wall or there is some private message, i go and do the needful otherwise i have no time for that.. NO I Don't get killed all that often but I have been playing for a while and have a fairly high level but still not as high as some and you are right some of those people that spend real money are idiots... I don't even play every day anymore like I used to. I do other stuff and try to make money online with my spare time. Otherwise I could wast hours on mafia wars.. lol
