You will often get different result in the web about which is the best diet for weight loss : low-carb or low-calories?
Well, based on one study, the best diet is "all of the above". Meaning, Weight Loss will be achieved, they say, if the practitioner will stick to his/her diet. It does not matter if you are on a low-calorie or low-carb diet, the key is discipline.

That makes sense indeed. I have only tried cutting down on carbs, and that really worked for me, but only because I was very strict with it and did it for a long period of time. So I totally believe this to be true!

Here's one simple fact that most people don't realize about weight loss. If you have maintained the same weight (give or take a few pounds either way) and you start exercising more than you were before, you will lose weight without changing your diet (slowly, but you will lose weight). If you change your diet and don't increase your exercise, again you will lose weight (slowly). It's the combination of changing your diet AND adding exercise that makes weight loss go faster.
As far as diet, all the low carb, low calorie, target food groups, detox, etc diets have a few things in common. Less fat, fewer calories, more vegetables, whole grains, fewer "bad" carbs (like white rice, white potatoes and sugar). Everyone just puts their own spin on the same theme.
A few years ago, I went on a diet. Over the course of a year, I lost 35-40 lbs. What I did was very simple. First, I took the dog for a 30 minute walk 3 times a week. Then I started measuring out my meat/seafood portions. When I bought it, I would split up a single piece of meat into 2 or 3 portions of 3-4 ounces each or put 3-4 ounces of shrimps or scallops or whatever small thing I bought into small freezer bags so I only cooked 1 serving per person. I switched from white rice to brown or other whole grain rice, pasta also went whole grain. Then I had a salad or a clear soup 15 minutes before dinner everyday. The weight came off slowly, but it has also stayed off.
Simple things, big results.

Dear me, Dear Me, people have no food to eat, floods, earthquakes, forest fire and so forth natural disaster, and it is so surprising the people who are blessed food have to consult a third party to control their weight. I do help people who cry about their over weight to reduce and be a healthy and a happy person free of cost.
Eat as much guava as you can (between 5 and 10)any time of the day. Do you normal work and also have your proper meal. Before you start note down you weight and when you feel lighter keep on noting your weight. When you succeed definitely please give me a reply.

first of all low carbs and low calories is almost the same thing. except sugar there are no direct calorie sources. all other calories u get by carbs. 1 carb= 4 calories thats the calulation. so if u intake more less carlories than u require ie. a normal man must eat at least 2000 calories. if u eat less than that. then the rest will create deficite. if take 1500 calories 500. will be taken from your fat. buy the way 3500 calories is 1 pound of fat. just to calculate.
