How often do you visit other users profiles?

I visited my profile today and I've noticed that at the bottom of the screen there's a specification about the number of visits your profile has got today and the total number of visits it has got since you became a member of myLot.
I see every day some posts that invites other users to visit their creators' profiles to find links to their websites or referral links to some online earning sites.
I wonder what are the reasons that make you visit other users profiles?
How often do you visit others' profiles?

You'll see an extra profile view for today...lol Typically I don't and now since school started even less, so not very often..So you better appreciate your extra view today..lol J/K

No, has nothing to do with earnings, but it feels good when someone take enough interest to check out your profile..Of course I been there before looking at Binne's picture back when you couldn't post pictures in a discussion..lol

I also thought it has nothing to do with earnings. But you were so convincing that I started to doubt myself.
You know, it's not such a big deal the posibility to upload pictures in a discussion.
When I was under 500, I was longing for it. And now what?

I haven't thought about this before starting this discussion. It's a risk I took, but I think it's ok. I have nothing to hide, after all. Maybe this way there will be more users who see Binne's pictures. You know how proud she makes me!
Do you think that those visits have anything to do with the earnings? Or why did you say I should appreciate them?

as well as i know, and since i joint to mylot i never visiting profile another member in here.it means i won;t to visiting and see another member profile. but more i don;t know how to do that??hehe..i don;t know how to start it first and how to look another profile member

Well, I don't go to profiles to see their websites. I go to see if they have any other interesting discussions. Then I will answer those. Usually earning sites are easily found with an internet search.

I visit users profile often for different reasons not really to visit the banners and other sites they are in but just to see who their friends are or how many posts they've started or responded to. Especially if out of nowhere I get a friend request I always add but then I go and look at their profile to see if I know them or if they responded to one of my discussions or something.

I also visit the profiles of users who ask for my friendship.
I want to see what are their intersts, to find out if we do have something in commun. It's better to have friends who have the same interests as you, because this way the chances to discuss with them are higher.

I visit most everyones profile I either read or respond to. Often times if I come across a response that strikes me, I will visit them as well.
I think visiting each profile I interact with gives a better idea of who the other person is and their nature.
I probably should visit fewer profiles and post more, but there can often be a bit of info to be gleaned from what is posted on others profile.

You know, when I was a begginer in myLot, I used to visit others profiles quite often. The reasons were the same as yours. But in time, I quitted this habbit, as I got to know most of the old users. Now I try to use my time here more efficient. I still have to work at "read without posting" issue, as I loose too much time with that.

Hi, inu1711! Thanks for the useful information. I didn't khow about this number of visits. I check the profiles of others usually when I see some interesting post in a discussion. I want to learn more about the person who wrote this. It helps to understant his opinion.

Yes Fannitia, knowing something about a user's profile helps us to better understand his/her oppinion. As here are users from all over the world, you may see how different are their oppinions.
This is one thing I like about myLot. Yet sometimes you may say what part of the world are they from, even without visiting their profiles.

to be honest,
hardly ever. unless i see a mylotter post and referred a good site.
i might then check out their profile, but that's pretty much it.

You know, keshia, sometimes it's good to know who you are talking with. Because the things you discuss with a user in his 20s differ from those you discuss with a person in his 60s. It's also good to know what is the country of a user, it helps you understand better his/her oppinion.

As i am new to mylot, Whoever responds to discussion, I visit their profile page.
By visiting other profile we can know, what kind of discussion that person is posting and what are his interests (is it similar to mine?). If its, I will add him as a friend.
Till now i didn't know about, we can know how many people have visited my profile page. Thanks for the information.
love to be a part of this kind of discussion.
We can only make a clue about how interesting we may look to the others.
But I always admitted that I'm a curious person, and I like to know how many people show interest in my profile.
