Hi everybody, The much awaited test match between Australia and India commenced to day at Mohali. Poor fielding efforts from India allowed Aussies to get on top of the match. This included the dropping of Watson in gully region by Sehwag in very second ball of the match from Zaheer, dropping of Ponting by Dhoni of Ojha, some missed run out chances and series of no balls from Ishant Sharma. Post lunch session saw some brilliant fielding from Indians. Live wire on the field Raina was particularly brilliant on the field. One such brilliant effort from him saw the back of Ponting. He was going great guns along with Watson when he was run out on 71. after the departure of Ponting the scoring rate dropped dramatically. only five runs were scored by Watson and new batsman and vice captain Michael Clark of the balling of Harbhajan and Ojha

Very true venkit but I doubt whether India still really back in the game. Another 60-70 runs and India is going to find it difficult to cope up with that score because the pitch, as commented by the experts, will get more and more difficult as the game progresses. Let us hope for the best and wish India good luck.

You are right edwardjoy Raina is a great player and asset to the Indian side. He got the opportunity in Shri Lanka due to injury to Yuvraj, he grabbed that opportunity with both hands and I feel he has become the permanent member of Indian team.

Well i didn't able to saw today's match.. Thats bad that India still on with their poor fielding performance.. but Raina always good at this.. I have read todays score of Australia and i am pretty satisfied with today's bowling performance as we can able to restrict them in low score with five wickets.. thats really good :)
