i am studying in a graduate school and had already attended two days of my professor's class. it was "what do you call this?"
during my first day i was late and counted 25 times of the line before we had a break time but yesterday it was 53 because i wasn't late. take note it was only before our break time that means about one and a half hour.
hmmmm....my classmates told me i should stop it. actually it helps me not to feel sleepy. i have nothing against her though because she's my fave teacher.

hello hushi, well there are people who really have such habits they just don't seem to notice sometimes. i also had some professors who are like that.even had different kinds of habits while they are teaching us. some maybe irritating, some maybe distracting or disgusting,i can say.but whatever it is,just hope you'll get something form what they are teaching you. not just counting their repetitive words.
sometimes those students who keep on counting those repetitive words can be distracted at times that they can't understand what is being taught or they are just not interested on what the professor is teaching.
some people don't intentionally useit,or if they did intentionally does it,we have no reason to laugh at all.besides,it can be a sign if students are listening to what is being taught.
