Being apathetic about school is a worse quality than hating it.

If you like school, then that's great. Even if you hate school, at least you have passion and in some way, many people who hate school still do good in their studies, mostly out of spite. It sounds absurd I know, but I've known some really good students to actually hate school(myself included at times). However, just not caring about school is really worse than hating it. Being apathetic is really worse and in fact, many people who don't care about school are mistaken in hating it. No, they don't hate it, they just don't care, one way or another.
