Saina Nehwal bags gold for India in C.W.G., Delhi

Wow what a game! final badminton match played for the gold medal in on going Common Welth Games at Delhi between Saina Nehwal of India and Mew Choo Wong of Malaysia ranked 19th in the world. The match full of excitement till the last point was scored, was won by Saina Nehwal giving another gold medal to India. Saina recovered from a game down and a match point for Mew Choo in second game to score a thumping win in the decider. After winning the first game on 21-19, Mew Choo was on a match point at 21-19 in the second game but Saina fought bravely and won at 24-22. In the third game Saina showed her class by winning the game easily. Saina had earlier defeated Mew Choo in team game event although Malaysia won the event.

Yeah,, Its really good to see her wining the gold. She is a nice player and deserved to win. Although in the first set, she lost but she showed a really positive attitude there after and finally won the game and added another gold to the India's medals tally. I am really proud of her, as every other Indian must be.

Hi smilepleeeaz, Yes Saina deserved to win she showed it in the decider but she was on the brink of loosing when she was defending the match point in second game. She is a gutsy player and going to be at this level for long time.
