Why girls like Teddy Bear?

Girls always like Teddy Bear doll. But there should be some reason behind it. Why? I expect more responses from Girls especially in this discussion.

May be its a effect on cartoon shows.Teddy bear is soft and cuddlable that is one reason why kids like it.
