Based on what I read, Theocracy government means all people within the country follows the God's law especially that is written on the bible while Democratic government is much different from Theocratic government. All people within the country govern by Democracy is separated by state law and "religion". So, which type of government is better? Government that ruled by Theocracy or ruled by Democracy? Almost majority of the people believe in God and believe in the bible though there are some people that does not believe in God and does not believe in bible, so why make it Democracy-- if we are likely to follow a "theocratic aspect" in our human society? ......I'm thinking if which type of Government do you like better? Democracy government or Theocracy government? --in your own opinion?

A theocratic government is by theory also an authoritarian one. Although there are no Christian theocratic government anywhere in the world, just look at Moslem countries like Iran and Saudi Arabia. Even if majority of Filipinos are Catholics, that doesnt apply that majority wants a government that will limit their freedom so much that they will be punished and go to prison if they failed to go to Church on Sundays...Or be issued search warrant because the religious police suspects the couple is using artificial contraceptives and hiding the illegal substances inside their home.

He he he he he. Based on what I observe is even if we are in the democratic government, there are still people that are christian or "conservative christian" acts as if they are the one ruling our country-- in their point of view, they have "theocratic aspect" based on what people believe in bible and in God-- it seems like we are ruled by "theocratic government" even if we are in the democratic government... What I know is "religion" and "state" law must be separated, but it seems "religion" is always have the "authority" over the government decisions like for example, a contraceptives. If the government permits contraceptives, the "people that are on the church" would not allow this to happen-- Churches always get their way in a government and that is why I am just wondering if it is better to make it as "Theocratic government" since almost all of the people has a "theocratic aspect" based on what they believe... but, I guess... democratic country is okay.

Government here in the philippines really is disgusting...i mean they are so obvious that the constitution favors the catholic church...even the proposed divorce law are being interfered by the catholic church. And of course the RH bill also was being interfered... Why is it that they are interfering with the affairs of the state...worst the government allows it...not including the people who doesn't support these proposed bills....as if they know a lot about the general welfare of the people here....they don't even bother to read the proposed bills...also are not aware of our rights! The Human Rights! They think that they are objective but they are just so naive! I hate this kind of people!

Democracy of course, we were under the the Spanish rule for 300 years and that was almost like theocratic rule since it was the friars that's literally running our country then and well it didn't go that well. The point is separation of church and state is imperative. There are many religions anyway and laws in our land are moral and bible based.

Democracy. It's monumentally false to assume most people are Christian. There are hundreds of religions in the world and no one has any right to govern others by their personal religious beliefs. Beliefs are personal, not mandate.
