Weekend cash flow

This weekend I am having a yard sale for extra money ( my first ) I was wondering what are some good ideas to make money on the weekends. I'm a house wife so I am always home. I think for me the one thing that has brought in the most cash for me is selling things on craigs list.

I would also recommend Ebay, if you don't use it already. If you have some free time, you can really earn some money while cleaning out your clutter at the same time! I had my first garage sale a few months ago, and am having another one next weekend. The most important thing I learned is to make sure your signs are big enough and clear enough for people to read them as they are driving. If it's too confusing for people to find your sale, they will just go to a different one instead. Good luck!

Ya I have done Ebay but I got to figure out how to not except forigen bids, I sold something to berlin and it costed so much to ship and I did not want to put all the amount in the price cause it would of made the Item look over priced. Maybe I'm just not doing it right. LOL My yard sale I got orange and green poster board with big letters Im glad now because some one said to use the pre made ones but they are tiny. Iwould not be able to see that if I was driving myself.. Thanks for your advice! :)

I had a yard sale last month. My daughter ran a food stand there also. That didn't bring in enough money to cover the lemonade. So keep that in mind. Another thing is you could try www.etsy.com . It is like ebay but it is for stuff you have made. You have your own little shop and everything. Another thing you could try is in home daycare. Especially if you live near a prison or rail road depot. Especially since those jobs aren't all 9-5 5 days a week. I am a single mom of 3 and I go to someone's house and watch her kids while she sleeps from her graveyard shift the night before and clean her house for $75 a week. I am supposed to be getting a raise either next month or in November. It just depends on when she gets caught up on her rent.
