Have any of you lost interest in Cross Stitching?

I am at a point that I have just lost complete interest in Cross Stitching. I want to go through all of my kits and FreeCycle them and pack my patterns and books away. I think that I will pull them out in about a year or so when the feeling comes back. I don't want to sit around and feel like I *have* to do them because then I won't do them right. But I still want to go out and get more kits for some reason.
Have any of you ever run into this problem?

I don't know how I missed your discussion and this is a late reply. But I have to slow down right now with my cross stitching because my daughter come to stay with me while she has her 2nd baby and has a 17 month old toddler.
Yes my girlfriend in Canada and I have both collected patterns to do.
We laugh as we say they will have to bury them with us so we will have something to do in heaven LOL.
I have several illnesses so when I am cross stitching I don't seem to notice my pain so much.
I hope you do pick up cross stitching again.
I have learned so much about it. But in the same tune I have changed my techniques on what patterns I do.
I used to buy kits from local craft shops. But now I have found three companies online that do not have 1/2 stitches, or fractional stitches, and no backstitching!
So my pattern habits changed for both my girlfriend and I
She just finished a piece that is actually hanging on her wall framed and matted.
It is 3ft long by 2 1/2 ft wide.
It took her over 3 years to complete it but she is one determined lady and has a lot more free time than I do LOL
Anyway don't give up on your craft. It will come back to you if its something you really enjoy doing.
