If you were given the chance to undo one thing in the past, what would it be?

We all have regrets in life because of something we did out of anger or frustrations. If we could turn back time and is given the chance to undo one thing, what would it be? I once got angry with a friend because of something he did. We just kinda drifted away from each other and we did not talk so we could be friends once again. He died young, we never get to talk and if ever given the chance, I would undo the part where we just drifted apart and not talked things over. Do you have done something you want to undo if given the chance?

It would have to be hooking up with my first husband and all the events that followed.
Knowing him, being married to him bought so much horror into my life that I was destroyed. I was bashed physically, mentally and spiritually and no one would help. It's about 40 years later and I'm just beginning to recover.

No, I'm not over it. As I said, I'm just beginning to recover and God has nothing to do with it. He wasn't around when I was going through it all and he is not there now. Our lives are pre-ordained and He won't fix anything or change anything.
I fail to understand why He will let me suffer the degradation and abuse I suffered and I will never understand how He allows a tiny baby to be abused in any way or why his creatures have to suffer against the inhumanity of man and his cruelty.

I'm so sorry for that. I hope you have moved on completely. The best thing to do is to just let go and let God.
I've seen my parents terrorized each other when I was a child, about 5 years old. It was really a horrible experience and the effect was so devastating. I'm just glad I was able to look forward and leave behind what is past.

I have nothing to undo anymore.
I may have erred in the past, yet I don't anymore entertain those wrongdoing.
I am more interested in the present and in the future than in the past.

That's the spirit! There's nothing that we can do anymore about the past. But assuming that we can undo something, there will always be one or two.

I can't really name one thing that I would like to change. If I could change something that maybe I would change things so I wouldn't have to run into some of the people of my past. But then again, then I wouldn't be where I am now would I? Hmm that's a tricky one :D
