Can you list some drawbacks of gmail.com?

I would like to compare Gmail , yahoo & Outlook. I prefer Outlook rather using Gmail or Yahoo. 1 - Composing of email is too different & difficult in Gmail , while easy in Outlook. 2 - U can access your email without Internet connection in outlook while U can't do in Yahoo or Gmail. 3 - U can review your older emails in a quick sequence in Outlook better . For Gmail u need to go page by page. 4 - U cant use this as an official email address. 5 - Many more ! :)

Though the Gmail's spam filter is effective, sometimes some non-spam mails also gt into spam folder. The reason is they are auto generated messages. I am using Outlook Express to download my emails directly to my PC. While configuring POP mail, Yahoo has the facility of forwarding SPAM mails too to the POP3 client. Whereas Gmail doesn't have this feature. I see this as a major drawback as an Outlook Express user. (For checking my SPAM folder, I have to visit gmail.com, whereas Yahoo forwards the spams too to my OE. I have set rules in my OE to decide SPAMs, which is easier to filter spams.)

JackRoy, I think the only drawback would be trying to migrate one account to the other without using an email client like Outlook or Thunderbird or similar. Otherwise, I would say Gmail is indeed one of the best.
