seafoods components!!!!

hey mylotters!! Why is it that when i eat seafoods that turns red when cooked made me feel ithchy even though if i can only smell their odor my nasal cavity feel itchy?? can you explain this?? My family said that i am allergic to seafoods.. but for those only that turn red when cooked!!! do they have thesame components??? and what are those?? Thank you!!

What usually causes an allergic reaction from seafood is iodine. Iodine evaporates/ oxidizes when burned so it goes to the air and then you smell it therefore goes into you setting off an allergic reaction.

You may have an Iodine allergy. Wich happens to be all up in shell fish and different seafoods. You my want consult a doctior and get an allergy test done to know for sure. Good Luck!!
