Hi,
I never have the habit to say Good morning or Good Night to
my parents, we don't have such practice at home.
But now I am a mother of one little boy and I do have
a practice for my son to say " good night " to me everynight
before he goes to bed.
I wanna train him to be discipline and good boy.

Hi Siliguri,
In India we have a tradition of starting the day by touching the feet of Parents but modernization has taken away this old tradition. Some have replaced this with Good Morning and Good Night and some have even replaced them with Hi and Bye sort of things.
I however say Namaste in the morning to my parents (when we stay together). Some have even the habit of saying Jai Ram Ji Ki... I dont know why get so religious here :)
Cheers,
theSids.
