Plastic containers are widely used for storing food everywhere. With increasing public concern for safety of food, plastic as a food storage device is being questioned. Using plastic dishes to micro-wave food is also being considered unsafe. How are you concerned about the use of plastic as a food container? How much risk is it to use plastic container for storing food?

I heard that too about microwaving food in plastic containers is not good for you.
I been doing it for more than 20 years and I think I'm fine, there is always something new to worry about so I just file it along with all the other things that are not suposed to be good for you.

Plastic containers have been used for many years. Tupperware would have a huge lawsuit on their hands if there was a problem. No, I am not concerned. If I became concerned about everything the media spouted off about I would be in a rubber room with my thumb in my mouth. I have worse and much more serious things to worry about.
