Originally it was only gonna be the 2 of us for Thanksgiving which was fine with us
.
Then his Brother and Girlfriend called to see what we were doing and we invited them to come over.
Two of our best friends had no plans for Thanksgiving and we also invited them over.
That meant I had to go but more Groceries get an extra Pie and my Boyfriend spend all day cooking since I had to work.
When I got home at 3pm the House smelled great but there was no one here.
We waited for another hour then said "LETS EAT".
No one ever called to say "Sorry but we can't make it" which at least we would have know not to cook all that extra Food
.
Needless to say we have tons of leftovers.
Have you ever been stood up?

Hi missy! I can't believe that those people were so rude! How
dare they! It only takes a minute to pick up a phone and tell
you that they weren't coming. You were nice enough to invite
them and buy extra food. I would have called them up and told
them off for sure and never invited them over again!

I was going to but Sconibear said "Don't bother it's their loss" and he was right.
We have the best leftovers and I can't wait to have some Turkey burritos.

Oh my, missybear, that is very rude on their part!
Also, I am very sorry that this happen. But, at least you have plenty of delicious left overs. Yes, i have been stood up, but thanks goodness, not during Thanksgiving or Christmas.

The good part was that after we were all done eating we had a nice peaceful time instead of having a party going on afterward.

That is simply wonderful, and sometime that is needed for your piece of mind and togetherness.
My husband and I just had Thanksgiving dinner over candlelight
because this year it was just the two of us. The unexpected snow, stop our kids and their family from coming down to us and it was too bad for us to go to them. Maybe, Christmas.
