Why is it that people think Just because I don't trust Any government as long as I can throw them that some how I Must be miserable. Sorry , I'm not.I just heard that a guy thinks there is a plot in college football to keep a BCS team on top. Mike and Mike thought how could a person live thinking like that? My answer Very well thank you. Why would Anyone just blindly trust a system that is geared to keep fairness out? Why would Anyone believe that Here in the U.S. where each party is more eager to down the other than helping the people, that Anything will get done? I'll never get it. But to assume that I Must be miserable is false. Sorry.

Hi Sarah,
I do not have much idea about the US government but I never trust any government here in India. They are all very much the same and there is no way - YES - NO WAY - to get the corruption away and win my trust back. I am politically Apethetic to the whole political system that we have here.
Some people have a problem with my beliefs and for them - I am an individual and have a right to my own thinking I do not and would not do anything that would hurt others. That is all there is to this.
Our acceptance of all this is often branded as pessimistic but I am happy with this brand name for me here, as a matter of fact I am when it comes to Indian Politics.

I am now calling myself a happy pessimist.I have my views and I will always have them.I am not going to change so either agree to disagree or just stop being my friend. So to many I may seem negative but I am in a happy place.

Oh I believe in tons of conspiracies and I don't trust government at all. I am very happy. I don't judge you at all. I would rather wonder than be blind. People to think ignorance is bliss. Some choose to live that way. Others like to research and dig and try to find out. It's all our lives..our choice. I think people who want to know facts and learn are sort of soul searching also. We go through blissful ignorance and then things in our lives make us start to wonder. It doesn't mean we are miserable. But it's not a good feeling to think of how crappy the world and our government really is. But I don't let it fill up every moment of my life either.

I must be the happiest pessimist on the planet. I never thought the government was there to make things better, They got out of that sort of business back in the 70's! I guess if one thinks that they can change the world and find that they can't , they can see the world as crappy.i see the world as the world. governments are Meant to be corrupt. They wouldn't be governments if they weren't! So this fact does not effect my mood.

I know a 70 something woman who works casual part-time where I work, who is into president conspiracies. Her 80 somehting husband is too! When George W.Bush was in office she told everyone at work that someday soon the US,Canada and Mexico would become one country and the national language would be spanish! She even told us right now the Mexicanj goverment is building a highway fro Mexico to Canda so the Mexican have an easier way to travel to Canada! As soon as Obama was put in office she has told everyone Obama got money from Saddam Hussian to build his house in Chicago! She lives off this stuff! I think people doi this because they have nothing else better to do and like to cause trouble when they start a new conspiracy! I really don't believe in that kind of stuff because it usually is false. No matter if is has to do with goverment, sports or entertainment there will always be conspiracies!

Conspiracy is apart of the human race through out time. It is who can be ruler to control the masses into what they want. It is the ambition that rules.
The people does not matter to them, we are only the means to an end. Doesn't matter what country, it is the same.
The thing is we are human, we have our own minds. We can be happy within our own worlds. Not allowing the fear factors used, the controlling mannerisms to take the happy moments of life from us. We can allow ourself to either be taken in by these mannerisms or take the time to enjoy those moments of time we are happy with who the person we are. That part of us is our own choice to make, it can't be taken away unless you allow it to.

I am a pretty happy person and I think the same as you. Government is awful, liars, cheat and for themselves. If they would work together be honest and do what is best for the United States then we would see this country start to turn around. I do not then that we are alone.

My husband is the same way when it comes to government, and is still a very happy, as am I. Neither one of us are interested in putting ourselves in the hands of supposed authorities, but that does not make us miserable people. Those who think so, really need to get a life.
