This is a picture of my friends two Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs - Odin and Vidar - feeling very Christmasy!!
These dogs are really like her children, Odin is only a puppy, they are really cute.
Michelle has used this picture as her Christmas card, have you ever had cards made with pictures of you, your family or your pets on?

We used to always take a photo of our family with our pets included as well. We haven't done a family holiday card in a while now. I guess now that the kids are all older and it is hard to get them all together at one time with everyone's schedules, we just haven't done it in 3 years now. I also don't send out nearly as many holiday cards as I used to. It gets pretty costly to send them all out as I have a huge family and so does my husband, we the past few years we have had to cut our list down a bit.

Yes, the postage can be expensive. At .44 per card, it gets very expensive if you have a large family and friends to send to. We had to cut a budget, and unfortunately Christmas cards got the big cut! Of course, with email, where it isn't quite as personal, you have to do what you have to! We still send out cards, just not nearly as many as we have in the past. But you are correct, we can get the cards very cheap here as well. I usually buy cards after the holidays when they are really reduced and save them for the following year.

I did one year....well it was a picture that I sent to Walmart and they would put a design around the edges and put your name or date at the bottom. I sent those out one Christmas. We never had the cat in the picture though.
It's a good idea, I think, to use pictures as card as a memory of the year past.
Some even send a newsletter in card to keep people up to date on what has been going on in the past year.

I had pictures with me and hubby last year. Professional photographers from our church took pictures for our church directory, and we had cards made from those pictures.

Nope, but after reading your post, I find that it's a really interesting idea to put pictures, especially pictures of animals onto cards. They make the card look special and the person who receives it also feels special.

Hiya chem,
Odin is a lovely name for a Dog how nice. They are really cute animals are to put into Christmas Cards and send them to Family and Friends.
My Friend from England got married last Year and she has put one of her Wedding Photos in the Front of the Card and it looks really great and also on the inside. I will not be ripping up that one to be sure.
When they got married they hired a fantastic Car too and they stood beside it in the Photo. Looked really nice all in all they had a great time I think by the look on their Faces.
Also I am so happy for her too she really deserves to be happy as she has suffered so much over the Years.
