There are loads of people trying to get things done really fast, what with all the christmas rush, people trying to get to places to get there on time as well as get home out of the cold. Why are people so rude nowadays and never say excuse me, instead all the do is push to get past.

I encountered many people like that not only during this Christmas rush. I think they are doing that unconsciously or they never care what other people will feel as long as they get ahead.

The people that are in a hurry tend to keep pushing past people which sometimes send people flying and that they shove into the person that is standing next to them. These people that are in a hurry tend to shove small young children that also get hurt and never say sorry to the child, or seem to care that they have scared a child.

In order to avoid that I shop online, but if I encounter something like that, that somebody pushed my kid I will keep my calm and approach him/ her and tell her how lucky she/ he was to have a strength like that but that strength is not to be used to hurt my kid.

I do alot of my shopping online, but when i end up running out of things like milk than i have to go out to the shop to get some.I hate to see children getting pushed as well as the older people that can get hurt easily.I think that there are alot of people that notice that there are children there and still push past them.

I think that this time of year there are soo many people that are trying to fit in lots of things that they need to get done.I feel like there alot of people that do not have alot of time in their day to even consider other people as they are on a strict time limit alll of the time.

i tried the black Friday shopping this year for the first time. Never again will subject myself to that madhouse. I am disabled and use a cane to get around but people were so rude that they either shoved me down or told me to go home and quit holding up the line. I felt like striking them with my cane but then I would be lowering myself to their level.

I think that there are alot of people that tend just to keep pushing pasother people trying to beat all the ques and trying to get there thinking that if they rush and do bump, pushed, knock into people that it will not do any harm.I think that you are right that by striking out we would be as low as they are.

This is the type of world we live in now and I feel that it is just terrible.
There isn't the emphasis on manners, church, respect etc and etc that there used to be....and without these things....we now live in this type of world with this type of people in it.
I think we need to get back to basics with our children and teach them to respect and help others....manners...I could go on and on.
I feel that if I can at least smile at someone....it just make that person smile at someone else...and on and on it will go.

I'm not sure why they have such lack of manners these days. I went to Kmart earlier and a lady and her daughter were blocking the aisle, so I walked around the second aisle to get where I needed to be. I could have said "excuse me" and walked past her, but I just didn't think there would be enough room for all three of us...and plus, I could really use the extra exercise because I haven't been gettin much lately!

There are not many people like you left, lol.Other people would have tried to cram past and not worried about what space there was to get past.I hate seenig people rushing and pushing peeople out of the way, just so that they can get past fast, so that they can get to where they want faster.

I do not to get to go out, so it is my husband that has to get through the crowds of people that are rushing about.I can remember one year that i had to go and do bulk shopping and that was for food shopping, it was mayhem, people were in ques for ages, so when they saw me and my friend with three trolleys full up to the hilt they opened the next till for us, other wise all my shopping would have been defrosted.

It used to be nice when it was JUST over the holidays. Nowadays, it seems to be everywhere anytime. Whether you are walking in or out of a store, or try driving at a normal speed on your local road (not highway yet) and you will always see someone weaving in and out to get around people that are doing the proper speed on city and side streets.
They dont even have to be pushing...to get past you they can do rude to you right in front of you LOL
My tea pot (I use a drip coffee pot to brew my tea) went out last week
I drove to the local "W" store which we all know to go. I went in the coffee appliance aisle, and there was a gentleman there putting new boxes on the shelves.
I went and found the coffee pot I wanted, and decided to get it. I bent down and when I went to pick up the box I heard glass tinkling inside so I knew the Carafe was broken
I walked over to the man and politely asked him if he happened to have another one there, because this one was broken.
He looked at the box, looked at me and replied well HOW would you know?
I just politely sat the box at his feet looked him straight in the eye and said Merry Christmas and turned around walked down the aisle out of the store and on down to the "T" store we all also know.
I had no problem getting a coffee pot, and people were more than ready to help me and aid me if I needed to.
Maybe even though "W" store claims to be the cheapest, does that mean they lessen their manners because of lowering their prices?
But for supposedly being the lowest prices...If I had purchased the coffeemaker there it was 14.99
I went to the "T" store and got the same type and a name brand for 6.00!
Needless to say I was VERY happy with my decision!
