Our perception of the generation that came after us.

These days, I look at children and just shake my head about how easy that they have it compared to when I was a child or how I had a much more productive childhood. However, the amusing thing is that I remember my parents stating similar sentiments and I bet their parents did before them, and their parents did before them and...well you get the picture. I think that we look back at our childhood always as if it was some kind of gold standard, that this current generation or any other future generations will never live to. Really this current generation will be saying the same things about the one that comes after them and the cycle of life continues.

This megamatt is when we become our parents.
Kidding aside.. yes the more technology continues to evolve, life certainly has it's eases and comforts where as the younger generations would never have been able to manage the times our elders or us later had to endure.

You know, we're going to eventually become our parents regardless. We swear up and down that we'll never be like you. Just like our parents have before us. Yet it is just inevitable. I think that is time passes, every generation brings something to the table and it really is like culture shock for a lot of people. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Our generation may not believe that some things are final, that there is no second life, as in computer games, some scars that remain, that are wounds that will not ever heal, and that our God is not the God of another opportunities, always. Neither cat does not have nine lives.
Our generation has seen too soon, and too many things for the past children had to risk beatings if they had forgotten the keyhole. Young people from our generation after them and shut the door quietly, without any emotion, while the naive believe that it teaches parents for college youth of our generation are at the touch of a button, what only doctors are discovering, 30 years ago. Today, the dirt was democratized, and we were close, now we are in our own house. In the minds of our generation has been a shift from the desire to touch, from waiting for immediate satisfaction. For this reason, my generation is no longer a romantic generation. Al Mohler quotes a critic who said that romance in Shakespeare's source consists of long for, all the characters long for unfulfilled love, and love has charm as dreaming, in tension, as expected, there in the immediate satisfaction. Our generation can not wait, like everything, suddenly, now, here at the moment, although it is deceived, because it has suddenly, unhappy because he was already given what you want now and here .
