One day diary

Almost 20 years ago the Danes were encouraged to describe their daily lives in a kind of diary. Someone picked a day (September 2, 1992) and invited everyone to write about their thoughts and activities during that day. Many people contributed and some of the diary entries were published in a book. The idea was to describe life in the early 90's, so that future generations would be able to learn something about our time. I participated in the project. One of my teachers decided that we all had to participate, but I might have done it anyway as I like to write. What do you think about this project? If a similar project took place in your country, would you participate? Why/why not? Would you like to read the things that people wrote about their day or do you find it boring to read about people you don't know?

I enjoyed reading the stories by the other people (I borrowed the book at the library) I agree with you, even if we don't know them we can learn something from their stories. One of the things I found interesting was the different lifestyles that people had and I even got some inspiration for my own life. Some of those people described their jobs and education and I also learned something about jobs that are different from my own.
