Why do most adults prefer acting weird?

Based on my experience, I see people who are more mature than I used to behave strangely. Just for example: when one of my family first, her husband having an affair, his wife found out and divorced, and her husband are telling their children that there are things that can not be understood by their children or to his friend "you do not understand how I feel. " What did he mean exactly? In fact he was one who was tempted by the passions and had to be consequences to bear everything he does, why do adults like to make a complicated problem? Why adults love to make excuses for kesalahaannya? Most adults that I met like the example above is always looking for reasons (I love the 2 different people, you do not experience this, etc..), few are willing to admit his mistake and did not seek a defense because in reality they are people of low faith Or (mostly) When a child is to tell lies and make their parents mad it is still reasonable, but when the child is saying something true and made his parents ashamed in front of others, parents will be more angry with their children weigh his son lied. Is it not strange? Why people are more mature ego bigger? Why is it difficult for older people to say "sorry" to someone younger? Basically all humans equal, right? Have a right to be respected and the obligation to respect, really is not it?

If so, means he has not grown ... , mature physically: yes, but, mature psychological: not yet. Teach children not to lie but she had lied, weird, right? so if I think adults who you think is acting weird like that means immature and can not say adult...if adults will not be acting strange

I guess we all protect ourselves by creating defense mechanisms. It's a natural way of life to prevent feeling blame. Eventually, we need to grow up and accept personal responsibility.

Because adults (age much) are not the same as your teen's age. Every person has the mental maturity stages. And this individual. It may just happen to people who you think adults around you have a character like that you own experience.

Matured people tries to act like child because of problems they endure when they act maturely. They are kinda scapegoat to the idea of ageing too. It says that a man who's turning 80 will more likely wants to have the best party ever than those children who only want ice cream, cake and balloons on their birthdays. Older man doesn't want to admit mistakes because they have the thinking that they are older and they knew almost everything they must know.

You know that Wikileak's head was arrrested becuz he had posted a lot of leaked info on what the US army has done in Iraq or Afghanistan. People are amazed by what they did. Would the US government tell the truth or admit the crimes they commited? Sure not. When you leaked some information that prevents or harms the other one's core interest, they would be angry. The same can be applied to the interpersonal relationship.
