I still remember when I was young, years ago, I saw my house used to receive lots of Christmas sent to my family members. So just a few days before Christmas, my family members gathered all the Christmas that were not too personal and the used the cards to decorate the house. Some of the cards were put on strings and some had been pasted on the walls. Now, I can see that it is hardly to see Christmas card in the letter box. Even I myself I am not sending any card since a few years back. The latest technologies have taken the role of the traditional Christmas card. Some just tag their version of Christmas card in the facebook or just sent e-card from Bluemountain and so on. I am not sure whether I like the old version or the latest version because I feel that I am not really into sending cards whether by mail or virtually. I just prefer to sms my friends and relatives through my mobile phone. Normally I will receive the reply instantly whether a word of thanks etc.

I find I do like the new technology also. But something about the old way that meant a bit more as I so loved to put them up on my card wreath and as you stated my card wreath has been a bit more empty these days more so then it use to be.
I remember before my card wreath barely had room for all the lovely cards I received and loved to display them all for people to see them.
