I will be cutting all of my cards up ready to make gift tags for the gifts ready for next year, beats throwing them all away which would be a shame.Saving money that way only saves a few pounds, but it beats keep paying money out for them next year.

I put ALL of my cards in a box. Then I call ALL of my friends & ask them to do the same. Then I visit those willing to save their cards for me & collect their box of cards. Once I have everybody's cards collected. I deliver them to a friend who has a contact with St Jude's Research Hospital. They collect ALL the cards they can get. Then they have the children at the Hospital cut the backs off & then they add new backs to them so they are fresh, new cards. Then the Hospital sells them in their gift shop & the proceeds goes toward the research done by the Hospital. It keeps the children occupied while they're waiting for their treatments. I've done this every year for the last 10 years or so. It keeps a lot of cards out of the landfill & is a GREAT way to recycle them!!!!

I like that idea. I have several gift tags I bought on clearance a few years ago, so those will certainly last for sometime.

I like to take a soup can and trace a circle around the main picture, cut them out and tape them to my cabinets.

Mine are still sitting in a pile.
My niece's grade 1 class wrote Christmas cards to each other and their parents. They used old cards from last year that people cut off the backs and donated.
I think I may do that.
Usually, I just throw them away.

Well I got a few Christmas cards. Well, I would keep them. They in fact from my loves ones. So, it is fit to keep them as memories.

What I do recycle are the gift wrappers and the bags too. It's a waste to throw them away since they're still nice and useful.
