What requirements do I need to play prototype?

I wanna install prototype in my computer and i dont know, what ram, processor and graphics do i need? Ive already searched in the internet but a guy told me that i shouldnt trust totally in those internet postings. Im sorry for my ignorance im still a newbie with computers if someone can help me with that i will be gratefull ^^

I'm not sure about the actual minimum hardware requirements, but I've seen the game and I think I have an idea of how much.
OS: Windows® XP (with Service Pack 3) or higher
DirectX: 9.0c
Video Card: 256 MB 3D hardware accelerator card required
Processor: Pentium(R) Intel Core® 2 Duo 2.6 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ or better
RAM: 1 GB of RAM for Windows ® XP / 2 GB Windows ® Vista systems
Hard Drive Space: 8 GB of uncompressed hard disk space (Plus 500MB for swap file.)
DVD-ROM: DVD-ROM
