Not long ago, progressive insurance use a monitoring device which installed on your vehicle to track your driving behaviors. Such as your driving speed; the route you taking to work or home; How many mileage you drive within a week or so etc..... After they collect all these data, they will evaluate your worthiness to their insurance. This experiment was used before in Great Britain, or other European countries. In the recent years, other insurance companies besides progressive might use such device to monitor their insured customers driving habits too. Would it be useful or a bit of threatening to you?

Installing tracking devices into vehicles is really a good idea. cause it would be easy to track vehicles and act to emergencies when people get involved into a crash or an emergency.. But not many people would be comfortable with a transmitter fixed under their seat! They need freedom and we cant deny that. I think its better of only half monitoring devices can be fixed up in the vehicles.
