Scholarships?

So I am shocked how much my college costs. Between tuition and books the cost is outrageous. I qualify for financial aid but it is mostly loans. I am thankful that I qualify for grants at all. I am also thankful that I qualify for loans because if I didn't then I don't know what I would do.
It just worries me that when I graduate college, I will owe a lot of money. I know I will actually. Especially if I don't get any scholarships at all. I don't have a problem paying for my college if it wasn't so expensive. I am worried that I will have trouble paying it.
I was wondering if anyone on here has ever gotten any scholarships?

I never received a single scholarship even though my GPA was quite high. I owe $140 thousand in personal students loans and currently without a job.
Most times I wonder why the government pushes the stay in school deal when most can't afford it though.

WOW. My GPA is quite high also. It could be higher but still a good GPA. I want to get it higher but I try not to stress myself over it too much. I have tried to fill out a few scholarships online but I have not heard from any of them.
That is unbelievable that you ow that much. I mean I believe it. I know how much my tuition is and it is very high. I don't want to not go to college because of money but I do worry about this for my future.
I hope that you either find a job soon or figure something out. Good luck. Thank you for being honest with me. I appreciate it. I think it helped me to realize that I could possibly end up owing that amount and to to think about what I am going to do in the future.

It was way higher as I attended an out of state college and the fee for out of state students is 3 times the fee.

I did years ago when I went to Loyola in New Orleans from the school. Barely helped cover the cost. I have been lucky enough to qualify for a Pell Grant to cover almost all of my school costs since I went the route to get an AS first. I am not in a huge rush to get my BS so I am taking whatever the pell grant will cover.

I get grants but it would take me forever if I only used the grants. Plus to qualify I have to be enrolled for part time at least. Hopefully I can qualify for full time soon. This will help me to earn my degrees quicker. I'm just a little worried about the future.
