** Please note: This topic is more directed to females but if you're a mature male - please do respond. feel that menstrual cloth pads and cups are a good idea because they're eco-friendly and are not going to a waste like tampons and pads are. Because tampons and pads cannot be recycled therefore will be going to a waste. However, the thought of using menstrual cloth pads and cups are quite disgusting. They don't seem very sanitizing.. and it's quite disgusting and not convenient. Like if you're at school, using a cloth pad and need to change it, you are going to put your dirty cloth one in a bag in your backpack the entire day? .... What are your views? Have you tried it? Do you like it?

I think there are much better and important things you can do to help the environment, so you should really use which method suits you best. I'm pretty sure you don't recycle toilet paper, paper napkins and garbage bags (at least I hope you don't ).

I do not recycle those stuff! LOL but yeah, pads do work well for me but I want to go eco-friendly but those products don't seem clean enough too.

Well, menstrual cloth pads are a big no - no. These were used when sanitary napkins were not yet invented. But now that they are all over, there is no reason for you to use menstrual cloth pads. Besides, cloths cannot hold those days when the gush of your menstrual flow is really hard. They are also unhygienic and hard to wash. Stick with the pads so that you'll have no worries.

Yes! But they should design something that isn't adding to our landfills /trash.

I just consider buying the cloth pads. I just started to use cloth diapers for my baby, and found the cloth pads. I didn't know the existence of cloth pad before this. I think it's good to use cloth pads, as it's more environmental friendly, cost less, and also I heard that it's better for the skin and also less menstrual pain. I do not think it'll be disgusting as I did carry my baby's used cloth diaper around, and I think it's fine to carry the used pad too. Also, as a work at home mother, I seldom go outside, hence I do not have the worry.
