"Signs and symbols rule the world, not words nor laws"- Confucius
I found that quote from vigilant citizen website but I doubt if Confucius really said that? I tried searching for it on google but it always connected to conspiracy theorists websites! 
I did look for collection of Confucius quotes but that quote is not included. So anyone knows or have any idea if he really said that?

But it is true, sign and symbols rule the world. First, those who own the signs and symbols that hold of something that was already ruling the world: Gold. Just take a look at the most powerful church in the world headquartered in Vatican. You can see Gold everywhere, in the Church fixtures, in the walls, in the sepulcher of the leader of that church, everywhere you will see Gold. And everywhere, you will also see symbols.

It might be true, but I am more interested if Confucius really said that.
