The Time Bandit website says he died peacefully in his sleep & the authorities says there appeared to be no foul play, yet the police report lists his time of death as being 12:52 p.m.. He was way too young to go & Justin left behind 2 young children. I offer my deepest condolences to Justin's family. http://www.corneliamarie.com/crew/phil-harris Phil Harris who was Captain of the Cornelia Marie which was also a boat on the "Deadliest Catch" died on February 9, 2010, almost 2 weeks after suffering a stroke. Both Phil & Justin were larger than life figures on the show as they both had wonderful personalities & a love for their job!!! I've not watched the show that often, but recognized both of these people by sight as I felt I knew them & remember them fondly!!! Do you watch "Deadliest Catch" & do you hold memories of either of these men???

I will be watching the new season of "Deadliest Catch". I am a fan of the Cornelia Marie and the Time Bandit. I loved Phil Harris! He will be missed! I will miss Phile going at it with his son's Jake and Josh! I will miss his stories of his dad and all his fishing stories! I will also rememeber "After the Catch". Phil lived in a small trailer but he loved to ride chopper bikes and make awesome bird houses! He was a charecter! One of a kind! He will be missed! I am sorry the "Time Bandit" lost a crew memeber! I don't really have memories of Justin Tennison. I do know he worked with two of the best captians,Jonathon and Andy Hillbrant!

WOW!!! You really do know the show!!! I only watched it for about one season & then they changed it's time slot, I had another interest. I knew everybody by their face & not so much their names. I remember Justin as being a hard worker on the deck & a kind, tough teddy bear when they were filming below deck!!! He was a very matter of fact type person who said what he had to say & then went on about his business!!!

Wow that is really sad to read, I followed the show almost two years ago and was completely hooked on the show. It was so much fin to see the realities of these brave and hardworking sea men. When I first watched it, it was my boyfriends insistance, and I was like great, huh, so I sat with him and oh my goodness I got hooked on the show more then he, as there were many of episodes I DVR so that I did not miss a show. The work these men do out in the sea is amazing as they fight against many odds and bad weather to complete their earnings for the year. I was not able to catch the show since and do recognize both names. So I am sad to hear this. Thanks so much for sharing.

We were watching about the same time!!! I watched not with a boyfriend, but a male friend. He loved the show also & pretty much insisted that I watch it the first time. I can't say I got hooked, but I did enjoy it. I cannot stand being cold & was fascinated how hard those men worked to get the job done in unbelievably cold conditions. Not only was it cold, but it was wet too!!! I saw some incredible teamwork also!!! In both cases I recognized the name, but wasn't sure to which face the name belonged until I saw their picture. Both Justin & Phil were power figures who gave their ALL in order to get the job done!!! I find it sad that they both survived insurmountable odds only to return home & be taken down by life!!!!

I've never even heard of the show, so obviously don't watch it. I did, however, catch an episode of Torchwood last night. Both it and Dr Who are shown sporadically late at night.

Deadliest Catch chronicles the real-life adventures of five Alaskan King Crabbing boats. Each Captain & boat takes a film crew with them to chronicle the dangers of Alaskan King Crabbing. Of course, the crew that catches the most crabs during the crabbing season wins a large sum of money that is split between the crew members...kinda like a bonus. It makes for a some tense & exciting moments as you see waves crashing over the boat as its crew works on the deck in freezing temperatures to earn their salary for the year as they catch the crabs we all love to eat!!! It comes on the Discovery channel. It is on break right now, but will be returning in April. Crabbers only have something like a 3 month window to earn a whole year's salary which helps to explain their feeling of desperation!!! I used to watch it as it came on behind a show that I truly enjoyed; and, to be honest, I was too lazy to change the channel. Like many reality shows, if you watch once or twice, you manage to feel an emotional connection to the people involved. Deadly Catch is more of a manly man type of reality show & I lost any interest after a while, so it's been a while since I last tuned in. Yet I was still shocked to hear that Justin had passed away!!! I must admit I've never heard of Torchwood so I haven't ever watched it. I tried watching Dr Who when it first came on, but never learned to enjoy it. I don't think it even comes on here anymore.
