whats in a name?

I often hear this saying and working at an animal shelter i'm always having to pick names for animals and some names suit one animal and not another so whats in a name? i was just thinking i would love to hear the stories behind everyones screen names on here. whats in your name? or better yet whats the meaning behind your real name? or your child's name?

My parents picked my name and my brother's name because NOBODY in the family had them! My mother and her brother were named for their parents and my dad was named by his maternal grandmother after people in the family.
Now, Elic Behexan is a character I created, but he is as much like me as could be for an alien wearing a male body...
Can you say I'm not exactly the most comfortable being in my skin?

oh cool yea my screen name is a story i wrote years ago and unfortunetly never finished but the tittle was innocents lost

i am the same I LOVE PURPLE!! lol i actaully went shopping the other day and my bf asked if i could please avoid purple and try some different colors for a change lol

Hi, yes. Every name has it's meaning. My real name that my father gave me is actually a name of a singer that he adores. My screen name is maz07, maz is my real front name while 07 is my date of birth and i really thinks no.7 is lucky. Mention about the pet's shelter home, mine almost be like that as i have 10 cats in my house that belongs to my sister.
