dog or cat?

I have always wanted a dog of my own. I have grown up with dogs and cats but love how dogs are more personal. That is until this weekend when I had to dog sit for my sister and have really started to think twice about this. He went to the bathroom multiple times in my house after I had taken him out twice that same day. Then, I tried to take him on a walk and he wanted to play tug of war with the leash instead of walk down the street. I put him in his crate after he went to the bathroom and he just barked and threw a fit until I couldn't stand it anymore and let him out. I am an animal lover, but this has changed my perspective on wanting a dog right now, and I am thinking a cat might be a better idea. They are less maintenance and still very lovable.

Well just like humans, dogs have different behaviors. Some maybe shy some maybe a little bit crazy but all can be trained to behave. Training them to "go" outside or in one spot of the house is the solution for the bathroom time problem. That is why i advice new dog owners to socialize or get to know the dog they would like to get before buying them. So you could know their temperaments.

both cat and dogs needs a lot of maintenance but in different ways, i have both cat and dog, and they are very lovable in such different manner and they have their own different tantrums, when you choose a pet, don't think of how hard it was to maintenace or not, think of your love for them if you love a pet there' no way you get tired of taking care of them even if it eats a lot of your time or money...
