Spring flooding is here again

Every year we have flooding when spring overcome winter. That is happening again right now. The highest place in country is only 312m over sea level. What a lowland you may say. Ye, we don't have any mountains here. I am living in area which is only 5 m over sea level and water level now is only about 0.5m under land surface, so flooding affecting many, many people here including me. Last year winter stepped down fast and thus spring flooding was unstoppable. Water wasn't flowing to the local river, but it came from it and flooded many roads and houses. This year it is a little bit better since there is no snow left so i hope in my living area flooding already reached its maximum.
