How much do you know about traditional Chinese Medicine?

A classmate of mine called me just 15 minutes ago ,telling me that the pain on his left shoulder had got well.I got interested in the way how he had cured the illness which had last for over one year.He said that he had taken some medicine according to the request of a west medicine docor,but there was little effect.Just two months ago ,he went to a traditional Chinese medicine doctor ,who kept on pressing some part on his left shoulder and left hand .It took about two months for him to get well again.
It is so strange .Here ,I'd like to know how much you learned about Chinese medicine?Share your knowledge.Thanks!

Chinese herbs are FANTASTIC! My family seldom take medicins from the hospital. We do not like chemotherapy. We have been using only chinese and thai herbs for many generations, and I should say that they are great. But the only thing you need to becareful is "Make sure the herbs you buy are clean and genuin!"
