For the whole week of Holy Week, i was sick. I was diagnose for a low-risk pneumonia, because of this i stayed home while having my 7-day medication, and this happen a day before the Holy Week.
Amidst the pain I felt, i am thanking the Lord for allowing this because I was given an opportunity to be silent and have time to contemplate on Holy Week. As I watched Recollection from TV, I had a self-realization. I assessed myself, where my life is at this point and where I am heading to, what I still wanted in my life. Just by listening to the talks of the speakers, more are priests, I realized there's so much to be done and a lot to change in my life. And for those aspects in my life that I have no control, the Lord is so merciful that He would always be there to help and guide me. God is so good that He would not allow His children to be astrayed. He will always make use of everything in order for His children to realized and accept how much He loves us, and that's unconditional.
Truly, Holy Week is a great blessing to us from God, an opportunity to respond to His great love for us, an invitation for a fresh-start in our lives.
