When someone yawns do you have the feeling that you want to yawn too? Me i think i do. Sometimes i can't help it and sometimes i don't get to control myself i would end up yawning too. But it feels great right? To yawn kind of helps make me feel relaxed. Hehe anyway, do you think there is science behind this?

I think its a nature. A natural gesture of a human who feel fatigue or drowsiness. Because everybody can't control yawning when we feel tired and drowsy.

I read about it in an article once although I'm not quite sure. I think the article said it was about the change in pressure something something. However, I didn't really understand it much then. hahaha. Anyway, I do yawn when I see other people yawn.

Hi. chiyosan. I yawn when someone else yawns around me too. It is very contagious and it makes you do the same thing too. I get very sleepy when someone else yawns too. I don't know what is the science behind this, but what I do know is that this sleepy feeling is easily to be caught by another person.

It is a contagious resposnse. we can not help our selves to yawn when someone else yawns. It is just something that the mind and body both recognize.

I love this discussion, your right! I don't know exactly why but yawning is an expression of a tired and sleepy face. We give sympathy when someone do it. I think the same thing when you saw someone crying or teary eyed you also tend to give sympathy, especially in a very emotional video.
