I ask this question inspired by someone who submit the matter of his love which is hampered because of religious differences. And I see there are many friends who tried to help. But from most of the answers, I see (sorry) are more inclined to issue a religious ritual, which certainly would be unfair and difficult. I question whether the ritual has a high correlation to one's spiritual attainment? because in my experience not a few people who "just" adopt "a high spiritual TRUST, which put LOVE in the highest position, namely with the love of his Lord, his neighbor without distinction of religion, race, class, etc. including the Natural environment.

Do not equate the words spiritual and religious. They are not the same thing. One can be spiritual without being religious and religious without being spiritual. I am spiritual and I neither belong to a religious group nor perform any ritual. If people are looking outwards for spirituality, then they will find only religion and may grow dependent on ritual to attain a spiritual-like feeling. However, if people seek spirituality from within, they will find love.

I am not a religious person. I am, however, spiritual. I do not follow any rituals. My spirituality has nothing to do with rituals.
