Geesh, appliances seem to bogged down too during hot summer season!

Packed ice in our place sells the most during summer season. But I noticed that our freezer is slowly making ice lately. Before, it would only take a day to produce hard packed ice but now it turned into 2 to 2 and a half days.
I also noticed that the motor stops at a period of time before starting again. I researched some tips on the net thinking that there is a problem with our freezer. One time I tried running an electric fan on the motor and observed what will happen. Its a bit of success for me because the motor continued running but it seems that the cooling system is not that very efficient compared during the cold season....I think maybe the summer heat affects the process of freezing.

I wonder if you should have the freezer checked by an electrician/repair person. Simply because it might be running way too much and burn down and then have a larger expense. I can only assume that the summer heat is affecting it because I have no experience with electrical appliances.
I am just wondering if the freezer needs some type of oiling or something. I am thinking if it is running way too much and not freezing enough if it will break or something.
Try and have someone take a look at it because the ice business as you say can continue to bring you some profit or at least some earnings.

Our electric bills are really going up during summer because of too much heat. Maybe, we should alternately use our appliances to prevent overheating them and cause fire.

Well I am a little bit worried with out AC because its used almost all day long. But our freezer and such is not that affected with the summer heat for some reason.
