If someone comes round for dinner and we fart, we usually blame the baby or the dog. The dog is quite old and farts a lot anyway and the baby laughs when he or anyone else farts, so it's easy to blame him when we don't want to admit to our own.

i hear ya.. i like to do the walking fart. confuses a crowded room while clearing it at the same time. great party ice breaker.

I have never blamed the cat. I'll have to rememeber that one next time. I have blamed the dog, the barking spiders, a squeeky floor, squeeky chair, or I just say that I can't always be ladylike.
