I raise tropical fish and I try to find ways to recycle (and save money at the same time). I have found that raising red worms using fish foods that have expired plus plant material from the kitchen scraps and when in season from the garden to be good foods for raising red worms that I feed to my fishes. I also use clay pots that are broken in my tanks to make caves. To make them more natural in appearance I will take some dry graves (of the same color (as in the tank) and put aquarium safe glue on the outside of the clay pot then rub the pot in the glue to glue the gravel on the outside of the pot (you could do the same inside if you wanted).I have taken tanks (with broken glass apart and used two to make one good one again. What are some other good ways to recycle and save money?

I appreciate your ways to recycle when you raise your tropical fish. This is very environmental. When I change water from the fish aquarium, then I will use the water to flush the toilet. This is perhaps the only one way for me to do something environmental when we raise our fish.
