Growing Peyote

Canada

First off, I'd like to say that growing, ingesting, selling, etc. of peyote is COMPLETELY legal in Canada. No loop holes or anything, juts legal. I want to grow a little peyote cactus in my house: this is mostly for religious reasons (such as a vision quest and such) but also because they look really pretty too. :) This is not so I can "get high" all the time.... I want to dry out the buttons for future use in teas and if that isn't realistic then i dont mind making an infusion and storing it. But I'm not sure if I can just basically order a plant (which is possible and afofrdable) and continue to harvest and grow them (since I live in south central Canada in Ontario) or if I can strictly harvest once and that's all my money did... If I have to buy a mini greenhouse thin for it I don;t mind. I just know that to germinate the seeds I need a hot and humid climate type thing and that's not always going to be realistic here. But if the Native Americans can do it...y not me? Or are they like average cactuses where I can put them in a nice place and water them semi-regularly.... Is anyone educated on this or have any information that can help me! :s I know where to buy the plants aready though. Thnaks fellow mylotters. :)

I was just given a peyote by one of my friends. It´s a tiny plant and I have it inside my house for better care until it grows more. I don´t know whethere they are legal or not in my country and I don´t care that much. I will not make an industry of it and I want it as part of my cacti collection.
